Every figure on this site comes from the World Bank publication below. Values are republished unmodified: we select, rank and format them, and we compute the change from one year to the next, but we never edit a published value.

How to read a missing value
Where the World Bank does not report an economy — Taiwan is the case on this site — the country page shows the series label, the words Not tracked, and a note saying why. Not tracked means exactly that: the source does not publish the series, so we do not publish it either. It is never estimated, borrowed from another economy, or filled from a national source.
Checking a figure
How to check any number here: open the source line under the table — it links to the World Bank indicator page — and match the year and the value. The raw responses behind each rebuild are kept with the site, and the per-desk files the pages are built from are normalised from exactly those responses, so a figure can be traced back to the release it came from.
Attribution
Population data are used under CC BY 4.0, with attribution to the World Bank (World Development Indicators). The licence line printed under each series names the source and its terms. The Bank's name and the indicator codes are used with the data for traceability, not as endorsement of this site.
Updates and corrections
Figures move when the source moves: the Bank republishes its estimates as new censuses, registers and surveys arrive, and this site follows the current release on its next rebuild. If a figure here disagrees with the World Bank's own table, the published value stands: write to contact@younivi.com and we will re-check the ingest and correct the page.
Currency of the data: every figure carries the year it applies to, shown next to the value. When the site rebuilds it re-reads the source above and republishes any change, and the raw downloads behind each rebuild are kept alongside the site — so a figure can be traced back to the exact file it came from. No figure on these pages is typed by hand at any point: the pipeline writes them, and a rebuild overwrites them.
